Greater Binghamton Health Center- Adolescent Crisis Residence

Provides assistance to adolescents (ages 13-17) and their families in resolving crisis situations by ensuring a safe, structured environment for adolescents to stay, while working through difficulties, thus enabling families to remain together. Through crisis intervention, individual/family work and networking with community agencies, crisis situations can be effectively managed. The primary goal is that the need for hospitalization or long-term residential placement is significantly reduced. Referrals come through a care manager, licensed provider or CPEP.
